The Memotech MTX Series

The Memotech Owner's Club

I don't think that I was even aware of the Memotech Owner's Club back in the '80s. They produced the Memotech Owner's Club magazine, Jim Wills has provided scans of most of the first two volumes of the magazine. The scans, particularly of the earlier editions are not brilliant, but are easily readable - however, if you can provide copies of the original magazines or better quality scans, I would appreciate a copy please.

Update 27/03/2016 : Matthew Clark has kindly provided scans of a load of the later issues, I will add these as time allows.

If anyone has contact details for Phil Eyres, please let me know

From a quick look at the magazines, it appears that the main focus of the Owner's Club was collating a library of MTX tape and disk based software. Unfortunately, with no current contact details for Phil Eyres, who ran the MOC, it would appear that this archive has been lost. If you know Phil and/or can supply his contact details, please drop me an e-mail. Issue

Paul Daniels has also sent me some copies of a number of their Technical Notes which look very interesting.

????   Although there is no indication of its impending demise in the "last" edition of the magazine, the MOC closed down in late 1989 and I think that Volume 5, Issue 5 may have been the last edition of the magazine.
