Introduction

Welcome to my pages about the Commodore 64, or more specifically, my Commodore 64C. There are a number of excellent websites and forums dedicated to the Commodore 64 range, including the ones with links at the bottom of my Commodore 64 About page, these sites will almost certainly cover the subject far better than I could hope to. The main purpose of my pages is as a repository for data relevant to my particular system, gathered as my C64 knowledge increases, it is primarily for my own use, but it's on the web, as that's a good a place to keep it as any.

I never owned, or even used, a Commodore 64 when they were released in the 1980s & 90s, and to be honest, never aspired to. My purchase of a C64 in March 2016 was driven by a need to test the operation of petSD+ with systems with IEC serial disk drive connections, such as the C64. I elected to go for a 64C, rather than one of the original "breadbin" models, mainly because I preferred the shape.
