Weather Site Update
Sadly, the Weather pages here have been
neglected for quite a while, mainly due to two separate issues :
The weather station software than I
was using to upload pages to the website (Virtual
Weather Station) is no longer maintained and can not use
secure FTP which is required by my website host so, whilst
my local website is mostly OK, the pages here have been
frozen since October 2017 when my ISP stopped supporting
basic (non-secure) FTP.
Equipment failures and my inability
to access the external weather sensors for maintenance.
However, I am now in the process of
getting the sensors moved and replacing failed components, it is
likely that, going forward, the site will concentrate on Davis
Vantage Pro hardware and the Oregon Weather pages will
disappear. I am also taking the opportunity to change the
weather software that I am using and will likely migrate the
live pages to use
So, please bear with me while I refresh
the site - I hope to have things working satisfactorily again
over the next few weeks.
