"MTX Plus+" Video Board

Production Version

The prototype video boards had demonstrated that the V9958 was going to work well for MTXPlus+ and were also used to develop the automated wait generation logic required to allow the V9958 to operate at the maximum CPU speed of the system.

A number of small changes to the board were also made for the production board

  • S-Video, Audio and SCART (using a 15-pin D socket) connectors were added to the PCB

  • The header for connection to an external SCART connector was retained

  • A header was added for the V9958 Colour Bus (for future use)
