My Memotech Tape Collection

Until recently, I did not have any interest in collecting original MTX software on tape, but I have decided that my Memotech collection would be incomplete without copies of the original software tapes. I already have a number of tapes and have decided to try and gather a complete set. If you have any MTX tapes that you would like to donate to the collection, please get in touch.

The grey rows in the table indicate the titles that I do not have a copy of, if you do consider donating any tapes, please get in touch first, just in case that I have managed to obtain a copy since I last updated this page - that's unlikely though. Any donations gratefully received!

The green rows indicate items in my collection that have their original tape covers.

The yellow rows indicate that I have a copy of the tape distributed by Syntax Software with a generic label. I think that these fall into two categories, tapes that were only distributed by Syntax Soft, possibly as "budget" titles, and others that were distributed by Syntax Soft, but copied from originals distributed by others - with or without the original author/publisher's permission!

An example of this is Star Command - originally distributed by Continental with colour artwork, and later, distributed by Syntax Software with one of their cheapo labels. Even though I have a copy of the "cheap" version, I would like to get a copy of the original version too.
