Boxed Manual PSU Good cosmetic condition. Comes with
its original power supply and audio cable, but not
an RF or monitor lead. I've not been able to test it
because of the TV lead missing and an old style tube
TV to test it on. Manual included as well! Comes in
it's original box and polystyrene packaging
(although a little tatty). I bought this at a car
boot some years ago and thought one day I would see
if I can get this old skool computer on a TV and
play with it. Regrettably I neither have the time or
space in my house anymore to accommodate this
beautiful old piece of vintage computing so it will
have to go to a new home.

Memotech MTX 512 Vintage Home Computer - Untested
A great piece of programming history
immortalized by John Hughes in Weird Science, part
of a series of computers by Memotech in 1983. The
unit comes untested and without a power supply, just
the unit itself. There is no guarantee that the unit
is functioning and unfortunately I cannot test it
due to a lack of a power supply, therefore it is
sold as untested. It is in a good condition, it is
very clean; maybe needs a polish if you really care
about making the machine look great.

Rare Memotech Mtx 512 Vintage Home Computer -
Untested
A great piece of programming
history with this machine that was immortalised by
John Hughes in Weird Science. The system is in the
polystyrene sleeve and comes with what appears to be
a TV lead and a power adapter, the power lead has no
plug attached so I am afraid I am unable to verify
if this machine works, therefore it is sold as
untested and not warranted to work. It is in very
good clean condition and came with a large
collection of similar items from a man who had
collected for many years. A great item with a silly
starting price and a short auction. Postage will be
via parcelforce or you can collect from me as long
as collection is no later than the night of the day
after the auction ends.

Memotech MTX 512
Used Memotech MTX512 with
power supply. I don't know what to say about this
really other than it's old and I've had it for about
13 years. I've only just dug it out of the loft and
plugged it in to my 42" LCD TV, and surprise
surprise it's powered up and gone to the Ready
screen. I Googled some MTX commands and entered a
couple of small programs and they run OK. I've added
photos of my testing, I've not got through all of
the keys on the keyboard but have done most of them
- I haven't figured out how to do a backspace/delete
yet that allows me to remove characters rather than
move the cursor over them! If you require any more
info I will do my best to help. I've not opened up
the case so can't really tell you the condition of
the internal workings but if there's something
specific would need to see then let me know.

Memotech MTX 512 , fully
working in original box. Just plugged it in to a
smart TV and you can see from the photos that all is
working as it should. Comes with working power
supply, tv cable , 3 games, demo tape, maths and
music programs. Also Technical Specifications manual
and Memotech Computing by Ian Sinclair (makes for
very funny reading nowadays) which guides you
through the setup and getting used to coding on the
computer.
There is some residue from tape
used to store cables and the polystyrene box has
taken some knocks but rest assured all is in working
order. Apologies but there is no tape player and the
tv is not included in the sale.

For sale is a Memotech MTX
500 console. The item was buyed in france. It has
been reworked. The case has been disassembled, parts
cleaned with spiritus and glass cleaner. the
keyboard has been cleaned with a vaccum cleaner,
there is one screw that does not lose, so no
disassemble and cleaning of the keys separately as
usual. sorry. The board has been cleaned with med
alcohol, the capacetys all been checked. The auction
is for the console only, no other parts, all other
things on the pictures are only there to show it
works. The psu is not for sale, its my own, i can
pack a replacement the works only partly, you can
not work with the thing, it is only good to see the
machine boots and that there is a feedback when you
punch a key. But this is a definete test only psu
for pros, its open; its 5 euro wit an invoice via
paypal.

took me 10 years to find an MTX in this boxed/ clean

Memotech MTX512 Computer,in Orginal Box And
Packaging for sale, pictures, its in very good
condition with all original packaging, has couple
marks and someone has stuck 2 tabs underneath (see
pic) so would make a fantastic addition to anyones
retro collection.

Memotech MTX 512 Boxed VGC
Look Rare etc ... ok this time its probably true.
No rubbish this, and very hard to find. It took me
10 years to find one in this clean and complete
condition and external needs sadly force me to now
sell it.. which is very upsetting so please look
after it!
You are bidding on a Boxed Memotech MTX512 in
working condition. With the Box , manual, 3 tapes,
cleaner tape, Power supply (warning -often MTX's
dont have these and are useless without this custom
psu), tape lead.

being stuck in its box (always stored in the house),
I have decided to sell my Memotech MTX512. Included

packaging I tested it by loading up Toado and as you
can see from the screen shots, I'm still rubbish at
it. Some of the keyboard keys are a bit stiff, but
this is probably just because it has been stuck in a
box for over twenty years and I expect they will
loosen up with use. As you can see from the alphabet
test screenshot, all the keys seem to be working.
All the photos are of the actual sale items. I also
have books on Z80 assembler and Pascal which I can
add in if you think might use them. Please message

that I plugged it in, turned it on and it appears to
work okay. I have not tried the programmes as I do
not have a compatible tape deck.

RARE Memotech MTX512 Computer 1983 Bundle VGC - Tape
Games Manuals Magazines This is a fine working and
tested example in very good condition and is only
missing the original packaging. Minor marks only,
like on edge of keyboard. Slightly rusty screws on
keyboard sides. Keyboard keys all working but
sometimes stick now and again.
