Really lovely condition, fully working and sought after Memotech MTX512 in original box. The computer itself is in excellent condition and working without issue. Power supply, ear and mic lead and aerial lead all included along with the original manual and an additional programmers book

I've also added a composite adapter to the video out on the back so you can hook it up to any suitable display with a composite input, gives a very nice picture as you can see in the photographs. The monitor is not included in the sale.

Sad to let this one go - quite hard to find, even harder to find in working condition. A boxed, fully working Memotech MTX512 with 7 tapes.

What you get: 1 x Memotech MTX512 1 x Memotech PSU for MTX512 7 x Tapes for MTX512 (See picture for details) Poly inserts for Memotech MTX512 Outer box for MTX512 There is no manual with this system and it will need a standard RF lead. The outer cardboard box is the original but is in poor condition and has my address written on it in red ink (thanks to the person who sent it to me year ago).

Everything powers on, tunes in and works as it should - I have not attempted to load any of the tapes so treat them as untested.

Memotech MTX512 complete with power supply, leads, manual and three cassettes (Blobbo, Daughts & Demo Tape) all in the original box. 64k Memory. (Serial Number 512/15489). A computer classic dating back to the mid 1980's This is the actual machine I wrote the Continental Software title "Tapeworm" on back in 1984 and the unreleased title Towers of Hanoi (which I can e-mail to the successful bidder) The Memotech with its black aluminium case and full sized keyboard is in excellent condition, especially when considering it is 30 years old! If I had to be a little picky, the legend on right hand chevron key is slightly yellowed. The power .... block itself is in very good condition. I have no idea if the three cassette tapes included still work. The box is a little tired but is generally OK with some imperfections.

Originally I used to connect this to a standard TV, however, now that TV's are all going digital it is difficult on most sets to get a stable picture, if you can even get a picture at all, however, a MUCH better way to connect up your machine is to use the Monitor out port into the yellow video in port now found on most TV's (where you would connect your camcorder video lead). I have included a lead for this in the package.

This is a vintage and rare to find computer Memotech MTX500 with its original PSU, aerial connector, polystyrene packaging, software - Super Minefield, Toado and MTX Utilities. I have tested the computer - see screen shots and is in good working order. The limit of the test was to check the character keys work and the memory - I have not tried to load any software as I don't have a data cassette player to try - so please note. The keys could do with a clean and some of the keys stick a bit - for instance the number 1 on the right hand side of the keyboard sticks sometimes. The polystyrene packaging is not in great condition and has wear and tear.

My Memotech MTX512 computer from about 1984/5, owned by me from new. I've given the condition as "Used", but it really is mint - no scratches or dings in the case, and the keyboard looks and feels like new. It's still in the original packaging, and has spent most of the last three decades in a dry loft. Unpacked it, plugged it in, tuned the TV and there was the "Ready" prompt - first time in at least 25 years I've programmed in BASIC! Comes with: Power supply TV cable (phono to UHF) Manual (sticky-backed plastic covered) Dust cover Serial number 512/19999 - so close! I've estimated the postage to allow for over-packing the original box with bubble-wrap and an outer box - alternatively, collect for free from Milton Keynes area.

Here we have a computer from the 1980s it comes with a power supply unit and user manual. it is in excellent condition and I have tested it and it seems to be working fine, the manual has a small snag on the front and wear consistent with age and use. It is quite heavy so postage to be advised, I sent a similar package to Denmark and the postage was £42.20 should be a lot cheaper in the UK or collection from my home in Norfolk is welcome. I am selling a memotech mtx512 computer which looks just like only a keyboard, mcp40 colour printer and spare paper roll, ian sinclair memotech computing book dated 1984, casette games Alice in wonderland, draughts and toado and some cables and bits as shown in the photos. The computer and printer still work. The printer connected to the computer, I switched it on and it started printing some squares -a start up I assume. I cannot see a cassette player within this bundle. I also have the price list as of 1st January 1984. This was one expensive computer 30 years ago! A very helpful ebay user called Dave emailed me with some more information on these items. "The only Memotech MTX items are the power supply and "keyboard" - it is actually the complete computer. The tapes are for the MTX, but the printer is from an Oric-1. The two black plastic boxes appear to be a RAM expansion pack and a joystick interface for a the Sinclair ZX Spectrum"
