Antony (Tony) Butterfield
Antony Butterfield started out writing games for the MTX with
Jim Wills, starting with Pothole Pete which was
distributed by Continental Software. They continued to
write games under the Megastar Software label, Son of Pete
(follow up to Pothole Pete) and Rolla Bearing. Antony
also wrote Downstream Danger (follow up to Son of Pete).

Tony has relentless pursued a vision of creating robust
malleable software that economically scales beyond today's most
ambitious efforts. Prior to 1060 Tony has honed his skills at
various organisations from the very largest, the likes of Lucent
Technologies and IBM, to solo development of video games in the
mid '80s. He holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from
the University of Warwick.
