MTXPlus+ Credits
MTXPlus+ would likely never have seen the light of
day, at least, not in the current timeframe, and would certainly
not have included many of its enhanced features without
significant contributions from others. This page is intended to
give an "honourable mention" to the people who have helped along
the way.

Lez Anderson |
Sourcing and donating
parts |
Lez has donated large quantities of components to
members of the
MTX
Forum. Lez's offer of free components played a large
part in spurring me into action on MTXPlus+.
Lez has continued to support the project as it
developed, supplying additional parts and much
encouragement along the way. |

MTXPlus+ Support
ROM MTX ROM Patches Diagnostic ROMs Compact
Flash interface 80 Column BASIC 6502 Co-processor
|
Martin coming on board meant that the pace of
MTXPlus+ development was much quicker than it
would otherwise have been. Having an ongoing dialogue
with Martin kept me focused on the hardware design, but
without Martin's software skills, many of the
enhancements to the system would have been a long time
coming!
Martin also designed
MAGROM and the
CFX interface for the
original MTX computer. Building and selling a few of
these has helped offset some of my costs for getting
PCBs made for MTXPlus+. One would not have
happened without the other! |

Speculator+
CPLD & ROM "tweaks" Z80 Expertise
|
Back in the day, Tony did a lot of work for Memotech, including
designing the SDX disk drive & software, as well as
developing
Speculator.
Tony's assistance has been invaluable,
not only in adding
Speculator+
functionality to MTXPlus+, but also optimisng
(OK, rewriting!) most of the glue logic in the CPLD,
particularly to improve the clock division functions. |

Andy Key |
MTX ROM patches
Memory Card access |
Despite him not necessarily being a conscious
participant to the project, MTXPlus+ draws on
some of the great work that Andy has done for his
Memotech related projects such as
MEMU
and
REMEMOrizer, as well as code that he wrote "back in
the day" for Memotech. Andy makes all of his source
code and hardware designs freely available on his
website |
