Richard (Dick) F. Govatski
Dick Govatski was the Marketing Director for Memotech USA,
the period photo above is from "Creative Computing", Volume
10, Issue 6, June 1984, that edition of the magazine featured an
excellent article on the MTX Series by
John J. Anderson. Dick is seen holding a Double
Memory board from a Memotech "HRX
Multimedia PC" which is briefly covered in the article.
Dick kindly sent me a much better copy of the "Creative
Computing" article than I had on the site, it has now been added
to the Memotech
Reviews page. A brief summary of Dick's career after leaving Memotech is available on line at
The Wall Street Transcript (copied below). More detailed
information on his "Telemedicine"
company, Net Medical Xpress,
can be found from the
interview with ceocfo from October 2012.
Dick's career included a spell at
Computer Shopper
where he hired John Anderson before Anderson left to work for
Mac User
Magazine prior to his untimely death in the
1989 San Francisco Earthquake.
