Command Prompts in Microsoft Windows
Copy & Paste
When using command line tools, like AVRDUDE, being able
to Copy & Paste from the Windows GUI, or even between different Command
Prompt windows can be very useful. The Command Prompt "Edit" pop-up is exposed by right-clicking anywhere on the Window title bar and hovering over the "Edit" bar : |
|
If you have previously Copied a command string that you would like to execute to the Clipboard from another window, clicking "Paste" will insert it into the command line of this window. If necessary, the string can be edited using the cursor keys before pressing the <Enter> key. |
To Copy & Paste between command windows, the text is highlighted using the "Mark" option |
|
It can then be Copied & Pasted as required. |
